Student Council

The Mt. Comfort Elementary Student Council is raising funds again this year for Riley Children's Hospital.  Mt. Comfort Elementary has a LONG history of being a great donor for Riley.   Our $1 hat days will be used as donations for our school.  In addition, families and students can become part of our online team to seek donations as well!  More information below.
We are hosting a fundraising campaign to benefit kids and families who need Riley, Indiana’s only nationally-ranked, comprehensive children’s research hospital. All proceeds from this event directly benefit Riley Children's Health.

We are excited to be involved in this important philanthropic work and have volunteered time and energy throughout the year to raise money for Riley. We are very passionate about Riley and know that the work we are doing is making a difference!

We would love for you to be a part of our success this year, in fact, we can't do it without you!  Will you please help us reach our fundraising goal for the kids?

Making a donation to our team is fast, easy, and secure. You can be sure that your gift is important and making an impact for kids and families who need Riley's world-class pediatric health care.

You can even join our team and create your own individual fundraising page to share with family and friends.

Parents:

The Mt. Comfort Library would like to thank you and your students for taking good care of library books this year. As we approach the end of the year, we need your assistance to help find any missing library books or pay for lost books. ALL LIBRARY BOOKS ARE DUE! Please note, we never charge an overdue fine. The only fee charged would be for a lost or destroyed book.  Parents can pay for lost/damaged library books via MVCSC’s eFunds link.  Click on PAY for Optional Fees, then choose Lost/Damaged Library Books. You can always send in cash or a check made out to Mt. Comfort Elementary as well. Keep looking under those beds and in the car!

Leaving Mt. Vernon? We Need Your Chromebook Back!
If your family knows that your student will not be returning to Mt. Vernon Community Schools for the 2026-2027 school year, please return your student-issued Chromebook, charger, and protective case to the MVCSC Technology Office next week.

Devices that are not returned will result in replacement charges being assessed to the student account, including the full replacement cost of the Chromebook, charger, and protective case.

Returning devices promptly helps us prepare technology for incoming students and avoid unnecessary fees for families. If you have questions about returning a device, please contact the Technology Department.
